How to Measure

📏

Chest

Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape measure level and snug but not tight. Arms should be relaxed at the sides.

📏

Waist

Measure around the natural waistline, which is the narrowest part of the torso. Keep the tape measure comfortable and level all the way around.

📏

Hip

Measure around the fullest part of the hips, keeping the tape measure level. This measurement is especially important for dress sizing.

📏

Height

Have the child stand straight against a wall with shoes off. Mark the top of their head and measure from the floor to the mark.

📏

Sleeve Length

Measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist. Keep the arm slightly bent.

Pro Tip

Use a soft, flexible tape measure. If you do not have one, use a string and then measure the string against a ruler or yardstick.
